ECHO PARASITE is a video feedback loop in a plugin: the frame is fed back into itself as an iterated map, with gain, decay, scale, rotation, warp and color drift on every pass. It is the richest engine in the suite.
What it does
- Ghosts and trails — N-generation spatial recursion with controllable decay and chroma trails.
- RESCAN — the camera-pointed-at-the-TV tunnel, with scale, rotation and burn.
- LIVE LOOP — true temporal feedback across frames, with gate, fold, ring-mod and damping to keep it alive without blowing out.
- Spiral, mirror, melt, FM tape — the parasite controls that twist the loop.
- ALPHA TEAR — the only plugin that turns tear regions into real alpha = 0 transparency, for compositing. Exclusive.
- STUTTER — periodic feedback freeze and strobe.
Workflow
Nine macro knobs in SIMPLE mode, full echo / parasite / signal set in ADVANCED, presets, every parameter keyframeable. Pin, NTSC processing and Mix shared with the suite.
