Description
PHANTOM CORRUPT models what happens when the 3.58 MHz color subcarrier goes wrong. Under the hood is a real NTSC composite chroma pipeline — luma and quadrature-modulated chroma, encoded and decoded per scanline — and every control is a way of damaging it.
What it does
- Rainbow banding and hue chaos — the subcarrier phase drifts and colors rotate across the picture.
- Color bleed and delay — chroma smears horizontally and lags behind the luma edges.
- CORRUPT COMPOSITE — color fringing plus neon QAM interference, exclusive to this plugin.
- COLOR TEAR — pick a source color and tear it to transparency, for compositing.
- Signal instability — wobble, drop and shred driven from the chroma domain.
Workflow
Eight macro knobs in SIMPLE mode, the full chroma / geometry / signal set in ADVANCED, eight presets, every parameter keyframeable. Pin, NTSC processing and Mix are shared with the rest of the suite.
Native C++ for After Effects and Premiere Pro, scanline-first engine.
